Installation Note

This plate sits with a 4 mm reveal (shadow gap) rather than flush against the wall - a deliberate design detail that gives it a clean, floating look.

FINISH & CRAFT

Our switches and outlets are composed of individual precision-machined parts. Plates, toggles and details are crafted using selected processes our team feels are best suited to them. This emphasis on function and form may mean the same finish may show subtle tonal differences between parts.

Brass – A ‘living finish’, the natural warmth and colour can vary from piece to piece.
Steel – Crisp and contemporary. Brushed, machined and polished surfaces catch light differently depending on shape and size.
Smoked Bronze – A dynamic finish with a patina that evolves over time. Depth and undertone can range from warmer to cooler.
White – Modern and adaptable. Surface texture can differ slightly across materials and shapes.
Black – Timeless and powerful with a tone that ranges from soft matte to a slight lustre depending on its knurling and hand refinement.

Pairing switches, outlets or accessories? Expect subtle variations between parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What electrical standard do your switches and outlets meet?

Our US electrical range is built for standard 120V US wiring and outlet configurations. Please reach out to our team if you have any questions about your specific project.

What are your switches, dimmers, and outlets made from, and what finishes are available?

The visible plate and toggle or dimmer arm are solid metal with our cross-knurl pattern, available in Brass, Black, Steel, and Smoked Bronze. The internal module - the actual dimmer or switch mechanism carrying the electrical current - is plastic rather than metal, which is a safety requirement rather than a design choice.

What's the difference between a toggle switch and a dimmer?

A toggle switch is a simple on/off control; a dimmer lets you adjust brightness and requires an LED-compatible dimmer module if you're using LED bulbs.

What should I do if my switch has stopped working smoothly?

This is covered under our standard 2-year warranty. Please reach out with your order number and a short video or photo showing the fault, and our team will arrange the right solution.

Should I hire an electrician to install these?

Yes - all our switches, dimmers, and outlets should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in line with local electrical codes.

How does the Buster + Punch dimmer work?

Our dimmer is a push on/off switch, and can then be rotated to adjust the brightness.

Can this be used on a 3-way (multi-location) circuit?

In the US, controlling a switch from two locations is known as a 3-way circuit. Our switches can be wired for either single-pole or 3-way use, depending on the module.

Can I buy a replacement screw, cover cap, or detail kit if one goes missing?

Yes - replacement detail kits can be ordered directly from the website in your finish. These are sold separately, not provided free of charge.
